Celebrating Growth: A Full Licence and a Full Circle Moment

One of the most rewarding parts of my career has been the opportunity to support and supervise provisionally licensed immigration advisers (PLIAs) on their journey toward full licensure. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of helping nine talented individuals take that next step—and every single time, it’s been incredible to witness.

Today, I’m especially proud to share that one of those journeys has reached a meaningful milestone. Please join me in congratulating Angeli Lagonoy on being approved as a fully licensed Immigration Adviser!

Angeli and I have had a unique and intertwined professional path. I first worked with her as her manager at our previous workplace—a company that ultimately folded, leaving us both to face uncertainty. Out of that chaos, we each took a leap of faith, building our own businesses from the ground up. Despite everything changing around us, one thing remained steady: our professional connection, and my ongoing role as her supervisor.

Through these past few years, I’ve had the privilege of watching Angeli evolve—not just as an adviser, but as a person. She has handled challenges with integrity, grown in confidence, and continued to serve her clients with dedication and heart. It’s been a joy to watch her rise, and I have no doubt she will continue to make a meaningful impact in our field.

I also want to take a moment to celebrate something we don’t always talk about enough: collaboration over competitionin the immigration industry. With the current climate and constant policy shifts being a headache to navigate, the connections I’ve made with others in this field—advisers, mentors, colleagues—mean the world to me. We are all stronger when we share knowledge, support each other, and lift each other up.

To Angeli: congratulations on your full licence. I know how hard you’ve worked to earn it. I’m so proud of everything you’ve achieved—and excited to see what you build next.
